You may be able to cover the costs of any legal action if you have Legal Expenses Insurance cover. Many Motor insurance policies and Household contents insurance and even some credit cards have legal expenses insurance attached to them as a free addition, and travel insurance often covers the legal costs if you have suffered an Accident or Injury abroad.

Your policy should provide details of the types of claim it will cover and the limitations on it. However, if you are unable to find the terms of your policy, we recommend that you contact your insurance broker or the company with whom you are insured.
